Quail Tropical Slider

Ingredients:

  • 6 quail breasts

  • BBQ sauce

  • 1 can sliced pineapple

  • 6 slices Colby Jack or Cheddar Jack cheese

  • 6 Hawaiian bread rolls

  • Mayonnaise, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Directions:

Cook the quail breasts until lightly browned in a pan on medium-high heat with half a tablespoon of butter. Remove and add BBQ sauce. Set aside.

In the same pan, with the rest of the butter, lightly brown the pineapple slices on both sides. Set aside.

Warm the Hawaiian bread rolls. Open the roll in half. On one half, spread a little mayonnaise, add a slice of cheese, place one BBQ'd quail breast on top, then add some sliced pineapple and cover with the other half of the roll.
